Physical Education (PE)

Physical Education (PE) is a way to develop physical, social and emotional well-being of our students. ACE Schools is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where pupils are able to achieve and, indeed, exceed their potential while feeling safe. Our aim is to give opportunities to gain accreditation while learning how to be a successful citizen. 

 

GCSE Physical Education (Short Course) specification will enable learners to engage in a practical course, designed to encourage learners to be inspired, motivated and challenged by the subject and enable them to make informed decisions about further learning opportunities and career pathways. Through studying GCSE Physical Education (Short Course) learners will acquire the knowledge, understanding, skills and values to develop and maintain their performance in physical activities and understand the benefits to health, fitness and well-being. Learners will develop theoretical knowledge and understanding of the factors that underpin physical activity and sport and use this knowledge to improve performance.
