Goodbye Mr Bindon

Thank you so much for your hard work and support

As we draw to a close for this calendar year and head into the festive break, there has been much to celebrate in 2022. Like many other years it started with  COVID still firmly on the agenda, then saw amazing jubilee celebration and the sad the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.

In a year of change what has remained consistent however is the amazing outcomes that our young people achieve ranging from superb exam results in the summer , to pupils hitting personal milestones in their academic and personal development. All of these achievements however cannot happen unaided, and it is at this time of the year I want to take the opportunity to thank all of our hard working and dedicated staff, and the hugely supportive families that sit behind the success of our pupils.

It also leaves me to say a farewell to the pupils and families at ACE as from January 2023 I will be moving to be Headteacher at Mount Tamar school, who are joining our Trust in the near future. The Trust have plans in place to secure a full time permanent Headteacher as soon as possible and in the interim Ruth Westwood our highly experienced Deputy will be Interim Headteacher from January.

It has been an honour and a privilege to lead this amazing school for the past three and half year and I wish you all a well rested break, and every success in the future.
